Brady, who has surpassed Paul as the movie buff in the family, has been dying to see the movie Coraline. The whole concept is pretty scary. A girl whose parents don't pay her any attention goes exploring in her new house only to find a door that leads to an alternate universe where she has "other" parents and everyone is there to entertain her. The unfortunate part...everyone in the "other" world has shiny black button eyes. If Coraline wants to stay in this fun "other" world she must sew the buttons on her own eyes. Seriously, this was the creepiest book I have ever read.
Brady insists that he will not be scared...and I tend to believe him. One of his favorite movies is Monster House where the house eats innocent children passing by. The reason that the house hates children is because the man that built his house fell in love with the fat lady from the circus freak show, but she fell into the cement when they were pouring the foundation of the house, so her soul overtook the house. Button eyes...houses devouring innocent children? Maybe Brady will grow up to write and direct horror films...Rob Zombie?
