We have kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a very busy, "all-American" day! We dropped the car off to be serviced and took Brad to the Advanced Urget Care so he could get a perscription for his pink eye (the perks of being an elementary school teacher!). While Brad waited for the doctor, Brady and I spent two hours burning through $10 in tokens at Chuck E. Cheese's. We then picked up the perscription, drove through McDonalds, and headed home to cut the grass.
We then met Grandma and Papa Bliven at Key's Stadium for a Frederick Key's baseball game. The game ended with fireworks and Brady ran the bases. Brady had a great time watching the game, eating popcorn and ice cream, riding the carousel, and playing on the playground. It was fun, even though I lost my sunglasses during the base running.
We're hoping to get up to the lake sometime this weekend, we'll see if the weather cooperates...today was beautiful!
