Karen's 32nd Birthday Trip

...to where other than VA Beach!?!?! We went down for two days and one night and stayed up in the Pembroke area which is new for us...we usually stay down by the beach. Of course the first stop after we unpacked the car was Guadalajara's! Yum! Then we headed down to the beach. It was windy and a little chilly, but that didn't stop Brady from playing in the waves for about an hour.

Check out that Yoda tattoo!
Then we hung out in the hotel for a while just relaxing and watching some TV. ...and making silly face for the camera of course.
In the morning we hit our favorite breakfast spot, Beach Bagel, and dreamed about franchising in Walkersville...every town needs an amazing (non chain) bagel restaurant.
We then went shopping at our favorite store, 17th Street Surf Shop. Brady really wanted a new pair of flip flops, but they didn't have him in his size, so of course he asked for a skateboard instead...makes perfect sense, right?
We finished our trip with a round of mini-golf at Pirate Golf (across the street from our usual, Jungle Golf). After Pirate Golf we headed home. It was a tiring drive, but we had a great weekend. I am the most blessed 32 year old in the world!
