Thankful for my Family

Although things get crazy around the holidays trying to balance time among our families, I must remind myself that I am fortunate to not only be able to see my family during Thanksgiving and Christmas, but we are able to see each other frequently throughout the year. After growing up so far away from our extended family, Brad and I decided that it would be a priority to raise our kids as close to family as possible. Brady has spent more time with his grandparents in the past six years than I probably did with my grandparents in my entire lifetime. One of the biggest blessings about being so close to family is that Brady and Carter have been able to grow up together. They really are more like brothers than cousins!
