Three weeks ago he went on the roof to replace shingles that had blown off during the winter. Our house is very high and very steep. I did not get pictures, and Brad was very disappointed that I did not document this event.
The other weekend Brad adjusted Brady's playground to allow for a new swing to be attached. This way we don't have to walk across the neighborhood or drive to Heritage Farm park to get some good swinging in...he can do it right in his own backyard. I do have pictures of this and will make sure that I post them this Friday (on the actual "Fix-It Friday").
This weekend Brad and Paul wrestled two full-grown birds from our dryer vent and out the door. It was a little crazy in our house on Friday night, but Brad let me know that this just proves that, "Two men can accomplish anything!" Brad then spent the weekend plotting and planning how to clean out the dryer vent to make sure it was clean and cap it off. After planning to climb a ladder up the side of the house, we were disappointed when even the longest ladder couldn't reach the dryer vent. Brad spent the rest of the afternoon in the attic taking apart, cleaning, reattaching, and attaching a louvered vent to the dryer.
Thank you, Brad for all that you do to make our home fun, safe, and beautiful!

Yikes, birds in your dryer vent! That is scary. Glad Brad was able to rescue them safely.
You are going to have to give me some tips on getting my blog background to look so cute. Yours always looks so good, and mine has issues. =)
