Brady's Tee Ball season with the Glade Valley Athletic Association began this past week, and he has already had two practices. This league is definitely competitive! Kids showed up to the first practice wearing baseball pants, cleats, and Under Armour! Not only did they look the part, but most if them were pretty good also. We were a little afraid, after the first practice, that Brady might be out of his league, especially being the youngest on the team.
Saturday was the second day of practice, and Brady's first practice that he fully participated in. He did a great job. In just a short (haha!) hour and fifteen minutes, Brady's throwing improved significantly, and he got a hit off the coach pitch in practice. Opening day in in two weeks, and I think that Brady is going to do very well on this team. If he keeps it up, he will probably be better than the six year olds currently on his team.
...forgot to mention that he is on the "Pirates"...how exciting!
