The week of Fourth of July we decided to explore a little bit of American History in our backyard, Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland is where Francis Scott Key was inspired to write our national anthem during the War of 1812.

This is Brady being sworn in as a Junior Ranger for finding all the correct answers on the scavenger hunt (he had a little help from his two teacher friends, which might be how he got a 100%!)
Sassy Miss Brooke got all dressed up in her patriotic duds for the occasion! P.S. How cute is she in this picture?!?!?
