We live in the most amazing area if you are a history buff. We pretty much live on a Civil War battlefield up here in Frederick. Since a very early age, Brady has always been a huge history buffs, and he and Brad travel to all the local battlefields. You may remember this Gettysburg video that he made when he was 4 years old!
One weekend in late fall 2011, we all went to Monocacy Battlefield (behind the the Target). It was interesting because it was such a pivotal battle in the north winning the war and preventing the Confederate troops from taking over Washington D.C.
After visiting the museum we went on a short hike off of one of the trails.
