Exhausted, but still excited, we headed off early on Day 4 for Hollywood Studios. This was, by far, the most stressful of the four Disney parks. Most of the attractoins are shows and events that are all scheduled at specific times. You really have to plan out your day so you don't miss something, otherwise you will end up sitting around for a half hour waiting for a show to start. Of course with Mr. and Mrs. Organization we did pretty well with our time.
We ate lunch at the 50's Prime Time Cafe which was decorated like a home in the 50's and had shows like Leave it to Beaver playing on the TV...though, did they have TVs in the kitchen in the 50's? The food was great and the dessert menu came in a View Finder. Brady even got a milkshake as his drink.
One of Brady's favorite shows was the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. In fact, we saw it twice (though, it wasn't as funny the second time around). The first time was hilarious, as you can clearly see.
The highlight of the day, and possibly the week, was getting enrolled in the Jedi Training Academy. Brady and a few other kids were given the chance to dress as young padawans and get training from a Jedi master on how to properly defend the force using their lightsabers. What were they practicing for....
This is how it all begins...
Then, Darth Vader attacks the Jedi Training Academy...
...and the padawan trainees must defend themselves against Darth Vadar!!!!I was actually pretty impressed that Brady actually fought him. He was pretty intimidating! As a reward, Brady was able to create his own lightsaber. He created a double blade lightsaber that lights up and makes sound effects. Every Jedi needs one!
When the day was over we headed back to the hotel for pizza and "chill time". Brady was relaxing in his pirate bed watching what else...the Disney Channel!
